Joseph X. Burke is a Brooklyn, New York-based photographer documenting the contemporary urban landscape. Exploring themes of desolation, found textures, and candid surrealism, an effort is made to draw elements of the everyday into a context all their own. Favoring a blend of spontaneity and photographic consequence, Burke utilizes an array of traditional, film-based equipment to detail his surroundings.
